Hubbard Foods Ltd recognises that Food Technology is one of the keys to New Zealand's future. As a degree course, B. Tech (Food Tech) is internationally recognised and offers unique career opportunities. There is a shortage of experienced Food Technologists and this has not changed in the last 5+ years. What is it? If you are still at school and you are interested in this degree, the most appropriate subjects to take are:
English and Biology are also useful but not essential. Massey University offers the original Food Technology degree in New Zealand, but now there are various alternatives.
